The more that everyone involved understands the processes and the time line involved, the smoother a project can run.

Getting Involved Early
The earlier CHS joins the conversation, the better. CHS will work with your architect and engineers to assist with design elements and budget solutions.
The Phase One Budget
Once there's a design, CHS builds a feasibility budget covering the foundational scope: site work, concrete, framing and finishes. It's not a final number, but it is a check to help make sure the project is staying on your budget.
Finding the Palette
CHS walks clients through flooring, cabinetry, tile, and fixtures with the client. Not as a formality, but to understand taste and finishes. It also helps stay on budget before it gets expensive to change. This is where preferences get specific, and where scope gets narrowed to match what the project can actually carry.
The Final Budget
This is where The Compliance Sheet comes in: CHS's budget tracking system, and the backbone of the build. Every selection line item gets priced and itemized. Door hardware, flooring, fixtures, all of it. The final budget gets attached to the contract alongside the plans, so nothing is ambiguous about what was agreed to. This is the baseline.
Building
The Compliance Sheet tracks chronologically as construction moves. Clients know what's coming next and what's already spent. Every draw is backed by the actual vendor invoice behind it. CHS also stays ahead of long-lead items like windows and appliances, ordering early enough that the schedule doesn't depend on someone else's timeline.
Walkthrough & Handoff
Near the end, CHS walks the home with the client, builds the punch list together, and makes sure every system is understood before the keys change hands.
